The Vantage House Foundation

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION?
The purpose of the Vantage House Foundation is to raise extra funds and provide other support for Vantage House and its residents. The success of the Foundation depends upon residents’ participation.

WHO ADMINISTERS THE FOUNDATION?
The Vantage House Foundation is administered by its Board. The Board consists of unpaid volunteers who are approved by the Vantage House Corporate Board, and it includes at least one current Vantage House resident.

WHAT IS THE FOUNDATION?
The Vantage House Foundation is a 501 (c) (3), not for profit organization whose sole purpose is to support Vantage House. As a consequence, all donations to the Foundation are tax deductible for Federal income tax purposes. Money raised by the Foundation will help secure the future of Vantage House for all residents.

HOW WILL MY DONATION BE USED?
All donations made to the Foundation will be maintained in the Vantage House Foundation Fund which will be used to enhance resident programs, improve facilities, cover unexpected costs, and generally provide for the well-being of Vantage House residents.

Donors may specify how they want their donations to be used. Designated purposes can be broad, such as recreation, transportation, or programs, or more specific such as limiting it for facility improvements to Cedar Place or Aspen Place, or some other special interest of the donor.

Donors may also contribute to existing Vantage House restricted funds. These include: the Residents’ Assistance Fund, the Jane Kelley Vance Fund, and the Health Care Endowment Fund - each of these funds will continue to be used only as previously specified.

Making contributions to the Foundation is quite easy. You may simply take your check (payable to Vantage House Foundation) to the Administrative Offices.
