Vantage House residents have assigned parking spaces. Covered parking is available for an additional fee. If you’re new to Columbia, be sure to look for familiar phrases in the street names. Most come from poetry and literature. For instance, Vantage Point, the neighborhood where Vantage House is located, comes from a poem by Robert Frost. The streets in Vantage Point take their names from poetry by Frost and William Cullen Bryant. If you’re heading out of town, all the major Interstates, including Interstate 95, Interstate 70 and the Baltimore Beltway, are just minutes away.
Vantage House Transportation
If you’d rather leave the driving to us, our vans and buses provide scheduled transportation to shopping, cultural activities and primary care physician offices within the Columbia and Ellicott City area.
Local Public Transportation
Howard Transit provides scheduled bus service around Columbia, Ellicott City and other locations in Eastern Howard County. Curb-to-Curb service by appointment is also available for seniors and people who are disabled.
The Airport Shuttle provides curb-to-curb van service to Baltimore-Washington International, Reagan National and Dulles Airports, the BWI train station and Penn Station in downtown Baltimore.
Airports
Columbia is just 15 minutes from Baltimore-Washington International Airport with more than 600 daily domestic and international flights serving more than 70 cities. Reagan National Airport and Dulles International Airport also serve Columbia residents with both domestic and international flights.
